Jonas Whytock

Jonas Whytock, RSE, is an experienced Industrial Millwright Mechanic with a career spanning over 17 years in various industrial environments. Since November 2013, Jonas has been employed at Compass Minerals, where responsibilities include performing maintenance on mine hoist plants, troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and conducting inspections on underground and surface fixed plants. Prior to this role, Jonas worked at Wescast Industries Inc. in multiple capacities, maintaining CNC equipment and robotic systems, as well as handling electrical maintenance and troubleshooting. Jonas’ earlier experience includes industrial maintenance and welding roles at J.C. Welding Brockton Ltd., focusing on fabrication, machinery troubleshooting, and safety oversight. Education includes studies at Cambrian College and Conestoga College.
