Melinda Johnson

Melinda Johnson, EdD, currently serves as the Executive Director of Compass Philly at Compass Pro Bono, where the focus is on building connections between local nonprofits and business professionals to foster equitable and resilient communities. Prior to this role, Melinda Johnson held the position of Director of Operations at Drexel University, overseeing human and fiscal performance indicators to enhance operational effectiveness, and served as a Program Administrator, managing a large portfolio of externally funded grants and supporting contract negotiations for clinical trials. Earlier experience includes working as a Financial Representative and Mortgage Consultant at AIG, marketing financial services and evaluating risk principles. Melinda Johnson earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Management from Drexel University, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Stanford University, and completed the DiverseForce on Boards - Board Leadership & Governance program at the University of Pennsylvania.
