Julian Medlin IV is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and sales within the railway industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Business Development at Compass Rail Services LLC since December 2024, Julian previously held the position of Vice President of Sales at FreightCar America, Inc. from May 2023 to December 2024. With a significant tenure at Norfolk Southern Corporation from July 2007 to May 2023, Julian managed multi-million dollar service contracts and vendor relationships across various managerial roles, including National Account Manager and Group Manager Marketing.
