Marissa Edwards

Marissa Edwards is a seasoned professional in the field of education and counseling, currently serving as the Clinical Director and Clinical Supervisor at Compass Counseling Services of Virginia since July 2018. Previously, Marissa held the position of Early Childhood Special Educator at Henrico County Public Schools from August 2012 to June 2018, working with children ages two to four with varying abilities, and conducted assessments and observations. Marissa began their career as an Early Childhood Special Educator at King George County Public Schools from October 2010 to June 2012. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Florida Institute of Technology (2014-2016) and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University (2005-2008).
