Michelle Boren

Michelle Boren, LCSW, is an experienced clinician currently serving as a Clinician, Assessor, and Intake Coordinator at Compass Counseling Services of Virginia since March 2017. Previously, Michelle worked as a Social Worker at Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center from January 2016 to January 2017 and held a research position at the University of South Carolina from August 2013 to January 2016. Early career experiences include internships at UHS and the South Carolina Department of Mental Health, as well as a Lifeguard position with the City of Coronado. Michelle's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina (2013-2015) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2006-2010).
