Cindy Cook

Cindy Cook is an accomplished professional in the telecommunications and technology sectors, currently serving as the Global Head of Spectrum & Technology Regulations at Ericsson since June 2024. Cindy's extensive experience includes roles as a Volunteer Advocate at Compassion Canada since February 2014 and various leadership positions at Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada from 2002 to May 2024, where responsibilities included directing international spectrum initiatives and 5G spectrum projects. Additionally, Cindy served as Chair for the Conference Preparatory Meeting for WRC-2023 at the International Telecommunication Union from November 2019 to December 2023. Earlier roles include significant managerial and engineering positions at Nortel, Bell Canada, and Telesat Canada. Cindy holds a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, obtained between September 1984 and December 1988.
