Jaimie Malott

Jaimie Malott has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jaimie started their career as an Assistant Web Officer at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. Later, they worked as a Media Specialist at The Navigators of Canada, where they were responsible for managing the brand and implementing digital innovation. Jaimie also served as a Board Member at the London Pregnancy & Family Support Centre, leading digital innovation efforts and implementing a digital marketing strategy. They then joined Fanshawe College as a Curriculum Developer for the UX portion of the IgnightJaimie'sWomXn in Tech Program, creating curriculum and teaching classes on User Experience Research and Design. Currently, Jaimie is working at Compassion Canada as a Principal UX Designer, managing concurrent projects, designing wireframes, and optimizing user journeys. Throughout their career, Jaimie has demonstrated skills in UX design, digital marketing, curriculum development, and creative direction.

Jaimie Malott holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Interactive Multimedia and Design. Jaimie obtained this degree from Carleton University and Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 2007 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Jaimie has also earned several certifications, including User Experience Designer from Akendi in 2019 and Level 2 High Ropes & Team Building Instructor from Adventureworks, Inc in 2010.
