Christopher Olson

Christopher Olson has extensive experience in global communications, currently serving as Vice President of Global Communications at Compassion International since January 2016. In this role, Christopher leads a team focused on inspiring action and enhancing the organization's reputation through strategic communications, engagement, and crisis management for a global workforce of 4,000 employees. Prior to this, Christopher held positions as Senior Director and Senior Manager in Global Communications, driving strategic counsel and public relations. With a background that includes 20 years at USAA in various communications leadership roles, Christopher managed corporate communications, employee engagement, and organizational changes. Earlier experience includes freelance writing and producing for clients and leading operations at a video production facility. Christopher holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Trinity University.
