Sam Askew

Sam Askew is a seasoned professional in talent acquisition and workforce planning, currently serving as the Director of Global Talent Acquisition at Compassion International since October 2012. In this role, Sam manages a US-based talent acquisition team responsible for hiring over 350 employees annually and overseeing various programs, including internships and volunteer recruitment. Previous experience includes positions as Executive Recruiter and Senior Recruiter at Lifetime Fitness, where Sam supported large-scale event productions, as well as a six-year tenure at UW Sports Ministry, where management of recruitment and marketing efforts was crucial for serving over 18,000 campers. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from San Diego Christian College.
