Selena Bunt has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. In 1999, they started their career as an Engineering Vacation Worker at CSR Distillery, where they conducted research on trace compound impurities in ethanol. Selena then joined RioTinto Alcan in 2002 as a Research and Technical Support Engineer, working on design and optimization projects and providing technical support to smelter sites. Selena also held various roles within RioTinto Alcan, including Continuous Improvement Champion and Six Sigma Black Belt. In 2004, they were seconded to the New Zealand Aluminium Smelter as a Six Sigma Black Belt.

Moving forward, Selena transitioned to Alcan Engineering in 2005, working as a Continuous Improvement Engineer and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. In this role, they led site-wide Black Belt projects, facilitated improvement workshops, and coordinated CI training and coaching. Selena also managed quality audits and maintained ISO9001 & 14001 certifications.

From 2007 to 2009, Selena worked as a Continuous Improvement Champion at Rio Tinto Alcan before joining CUB (Carlton & United Breweries) in 2009. At CUB, they held various roles, including Continuous Improvement Coach, Yatala B3 Line Manager, and Business Process Improvement Manager. Selena then joined Competitive Capabilities International (CCI) and worked as a Consultant for CCI Australia from 2012 to 2017.
