Amit Cohen

Amit Cohen is the CEO and founder of Compira Labs. Amit has over 18 years of experience in the telecommunications and software industries. Amit has held various leadership positions in product management, product line management, and engineering.

In 2011, Amit co-founded FortyCloud, an innovative security solution for Cloud infrastructure deployments that is delivered in a SaaS model. Amit led the company's fund-raising, business activities, go-to-market, and acquisition efforts. In 2016, FortyCloud was acquired by FireMon.

From October 2016 to March 2017, Amit served as the Chief Product Officer for FireMon's 40Cloud product line. In this role, they led the post-acquisition integration of the FortyCloud product line into FireMon.

Prior to FortyCloud, Amit was the VP Product Line Management for ECI Telecom's Access Line of Business. In this role, they were responsible for the entire life-cycle of all in-house as well as OEM products in ECI's Access offering. Amit was also responsible for product strategy and roadmap, prioritization of R&D resources, and the interface to the company's sales force. Amit was ECI's technical lead for the British Telecom (BT) Openreach NGA project from the ITT phase to and including the network design and integration phases after contract award.

Amit holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

Amit Cohen has an EMBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, an MSc. in Computer Science from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and a BA in Computer Science from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Amit also went to Katzir high school.
