Kathy Chaney Ms, Phr

Kathy Chaney has a strong background in human resources, with extensive experience in developing and executing HR strategies. Kathy has served as the Director of Human Resources at Complete Emergency Care since 2015, where they have been responsible for leading and evaluating the HR function. Prior to this, Kathy worked as a Human Resource/Office Manager at Hirata Corporation of America from 2013 to 2015.

From 1995 to 2013, Kathy held multiple roles at Milestone Contractors LP, including Risk Manager and HR Generalist. In their role as Risk Manager, they successfully managed worker compensation and PD/GL claims, resulting in a significant decrease in claims. Kathy also implemented a Modified Work Program and streamlined reporting processes. As an HR Generalist, Kathy demonstrated their expertise in benefits administration, employee relations, and training.

Kathy has also served as the President and Board Member of the Indiana Workers Comp Institute from 2003 to 2010. Prior to that, they gained valuable experience as an Administrative Assistant at First Data Corporation - Teleservices Division from 1988 to 1995, and as a Customer Service Representative at UPS from 1987 to 1988. Kathy began their career as an Assistant Underwriter at American States Insurance Company from 1977 to 1987.

Kathy Chaney, MS, PHR, SHRM-CP, obtained a Master's degree in Human Resource Development from Villanova University from 2012 to 2014. Kathy then received a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Indiana Tech, studying from 2005 to 2010. Additionally, they are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Management/Human Resources from Indiana Tech.
