Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Reports to:  Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Manager

Location: Cork (Hybrid 2 days in office)

Job Purpose

This is a newly created position as we develop and expand our SDR team - a key component of our growth strategy for our 3 year plan.

The SDR role is focussed on 7 key areas:

  1. Create qualified opportunities against quarterly targets

  2. Deliver upon SLAs between Marketing and Sales to ensure timely follow up of inbound leads, campaign follow up and target prospecting

  3. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on outbound program strategy and design (who, what, how)

  4. Continue to grow competencies and expertise in everything related to outbound lead generation

  5. Use your good-natured wit and charm to build relationships, break through the noise, and engage prospects

  6. Engage in meaningful discussion with high-level executives, ask thoughtful discovery questions, introduce Compliance & Risks product and handle objections as needed

  7. Maintain thorough and accurate records in our CRM (Hubspot) platform

In this hands on role, you will drive process improvements to automate the current lead generation process. You will be responsible for developing new business whilst growing your own career with Compliance & Risks.

You will be the creator of your own destiny, in one of Ireland's fastest expanding SaaS companies working with Global household brands around the world. You will be responsible for ensuring that you enable this growth by achieving and exceeding Lead Generation targets and Key Performance Indicators. 

Responsibilities

KRA1: Strategy & Process Definition:

  • Work to and drive continuous improvement around our Outbound prospecting strategy
  • Work to and drive continuous improvement around MQL to SQL qualification process
  • Build and drive continuous improvement for our Lead Generation process
  • Work to and drive continuous improvement around Marketing & Sales SLAs with respect to our  Lead Management process

KRA2: Campaign Planning:

  • Execute upon our inbound and outbound strategies to create steady flow of SQLs
  • Work with Content and Product Marketing to develop and test effective messaging for outbound communications to your team’s assigned accounts
  • Execute upon monthly campaigns to hit SQL targets
  • Work with and drive continuous improvement with respect to processes to identify and research lists of companies to target

KRA 3: Measure & Report

  • Hit and report on goals in real time (using Hubspot reporting and dashboards) to ensure enough quality pipeline to help exceed monthly revenue targets
  • Own and continuously iterate on health of funnel reporting (from lead creation through to deal value)
  • Track and hit key metrics including dials, emails, touch-points, number of Leads to Opportunities and Conversions at all stages in the sales funnel
  • Partner with Marketing & Sales to ensure leads are being created and routed as expected

KRA 4: Partner:

  • With Product to understand our compliance solutions & client challenges
  • With Marketing and Sales to understand our ideal target client profile
  • With Sales & Account Management to understand what makes a good quality SQL
  • Partner with regional counterparts and cross-functional teams to track lead generation, and follow up across the demand funnel.

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional interpersonal and problem solving skills

  • Experience in Hubspot/Salesforce, Excel/Sheets, and other sales productivity software

  • Demonstrated track record of working closely with sales

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment

  • Have at least 1 year (or more!) of outbound B2B Sales Development experience or comparable customer service/sales experience

  • Have a positive attitude and an appetite for experimentation

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Are driven, self-motivated, results-oriented, and have a fantastic work ethic

  • Are coachable, collaborative, and curious

  • Have a keen desire to continually develop and grow their skills
