Dave Lefort

Dave Lefort is the Managing Director at Compliance Week. Prior to this, they were Deputy Editor of the ESPN.com Personalization Team from September 2009 to December 2017. There, they managed a staff of 16 writers and editors who focused on super-serving ESPN.com users who “personalized” by indicating their favorite teams. Dave was also Golf Editor/News Editor at ESPN.com from January 2001 to December 2004 where they created unique features to inform and engage readers and increase traffic to the site. Assigned and edited stories from staff columnists and writers; wrote weekly golf recap. Developed special sections and in-depth on-site coverage for major golf tournaments. From March 2004 to September 2009, Dave was Digital Sports Editor at Boston Globe Media where they planned and executed coverage for the award-winning Boston.com sports section, which averaged 42 million pageviews per month (approximately 30 percent of site’s total traffic). Dave has also been a Sports Producer at CBSSports.com from January 1998 to December 2001 and at washingtonpost.com from April 1997 to July 1998.

Dave Lefort has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from American University.
