Head Discovery at Complix

Stefan Loverix has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Stefan began their career as a student pilot in the Belgian Air Force from 1988 to 1990. After that, they worked as a Post-Doc in the Department of General Chemistry at VUB from 2000 to 2006. During this time, their focus was on structural biology. Stefan then transitioned to Algonomics, a company now owned by Lonza, where they served as a Senior Scientist from 2006 to 2010, specializing in structural biology and antibody research. In 2011, Stefan joined Mabmole as the Managing Director, a position they held indefinitely. Alongside this role, they also joined Complix N.V. in 2011 as a Senior Scientist Protein Design - Project Manager Platform Development until 2015. Stefan then moved on to become the Principal Scientist Protein Design at Complix N.V. from 2016 to 2021. Currently, Stefan is the Head of Discovery at Complix N.V. starting from July 2021.

Stefan Loverix's education history begins with attending the Koninklijk Atheneum Tongeren from 1982 to 1988. During this time, they focused on Wetenschappen Wiskunde 6u as their field of study.

Stefan then went on to study at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel from 1990 to 1995. Stefan pursued a degree in Bio-engineering, specializing in Cellular and Genetic Biotechnology.

Continuing their education at the same institution, Stefan Loverix enrolled in a PhD program from 1995 to 2000. Stefan conducted research in the field of Enzymology and Molecular Biology, working towards earning their PhD degree.
