Derrick Shea has a diverse work experience in the aviation and manufacturing industry. Derrick started their career as a Design Engineer at GE Aviation in 2005 and went on to hold various roles including Instrumentation Design Engineer, Instrumentation Lead Program Engineer, and Development Assembly Shop Supervisor. In 2014, they became the Development Assembly Business Leader, responsible for managing the instrumentation group and overseeing program schedules and costs. Derrick then transitioned to the role of Manufacturing Shop Operations Manager, where they managed cases and frames. In 2018, they became the CFM Senior Hardware Manager and later the CFM Spares Delivery Leader, responsible for manufacturing programs and spare parts delivery. In 2020, Derrick joined Component Repair Technologies as the MRO Operations Manager in the Machine Department. Derrick is currently serving as the Director of Customer Programs, leading a team that works directly with customers to define work scopes, communicate pricing and delivery, and develop process improvements.

Derrick Shea's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton, where they attended from 2000 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at Xavier University from 2005 to 2007, specializing in Business.
