Deborah Kelly

Deborah Kelly has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Deborah is the owner and artist at Playful Days Decor since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a freelance content marketing writer at Compose.ly starting in November 2020. Deborah also owned Elegant Expressions Creative Services, offering writing, editing, and layout services with a specialization in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) content writing since October 2010.

Deborah has worked as a writer at The Content Authority since March 2010, creating SEO content for various publishers. Deborah served as a content coordinator at Best Version Media from June 2020 to May 2023. Deborah was also a freelance reporter at The Longmont Leader from May 2020 to May 2023.

Previously, Deborah worked as a New Product Showcase Editor and Copy Editor at Hobby Merchandiser from June 2018 to November 2021. Deborah served as a business consultant at Boulder Music Institute from January 2016 to August 2019 and continued to act as a business consultant for BMI even after stepping down as the Administrative Director, a role they held from August 2015 to January 2016. Additionally, they briefly worked as an editor at Elite Editing from February 2019 to April 2019.

Deborah Kelly has a diverse education history. Deborah obtained a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration and Management, General from Keller Graduate School of Management, Devry University in Westminster, Colorado. This program lasted from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, Deborah earned an M.A. degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Colorado Boulder, completing their studies from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, they hold a B.A. degree in Spanish from Northeastern Illinois University, which was awarded in 2006 to 2004.

Deborah has also pursued further certifications to enhance their skill set. In 2022, they obtained a certification in Digital Marketing Strategies: Data, Automation, AI, and Analytics from Kellogg Executive Education. Earlier certifications include a Certificate of Course Completion in the ABCs of Technical Writing from the International Association for Continuing Education & Training (IACET) in 2018, and a Certificate of Course Completion in Humor Writing from the same institution in 2015. Moreover, they acquired a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management in 2013.

Lastly, Deborah engaged in professional development by completing the Google Analytics for Beginners course at the Google Analytics Academy in 2021.
