Jason Gibson

Jason Gibson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jason began their career at Regulator Marine Inc in 2000 as an Operations Manager where they led a team of 140 and implemented Six Sigma tools to streamline processes. Jason then joined EdgeWater Power Boats in 2003 as the Director of Manufacturing, where they directed a team of 150 and implemented a unique single piece infusion process, resulting in increased revenue and manufacturing efficiency. In 2006, Jason joined Composites One as the Chief Applications Engineer and later became the Technical Support Manager. Jason managed business development projects, collaborated with multi-disciplinary teams, and achieved significant cost savings through improved processes. From 2008 to 2014, they held the role of Advanced Composites Market Manager at Composites One and focused on the growth of composite materials in defense and aerospace markets. Overall, Jason has a strong track record of successfully managing teams, improving processes, and driving growth.

Jason Gibson received their education in the field of engineering. Jason obtained a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, attending from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned two Master's degrees from The Ohio State University, one in Mechanical Engineering and another in Industrial and Systems Engineering, from 1995 to 1996. Jason completed their undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University as well, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from 1990 to 1994.

In addition to their formal education, Jason has also obtained several certifications. Jason earned a certification called "Ahead of the Curve: Board Development Program" from In Touch Networks in October 2021. Jason also holds a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification - Level I from North Carolina State University, which they obtained in January 2002.
