Theresa Hinton

Theresa Hinton has extensive experience in special education, serving as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist at Comprehensive Behavior Supports since October 2016. Prior to this, Theresa worked as a Special Education Teacher at Birch Family Services from January 2011 to August 2016, where responsibilities included developing curriculum based on TEACCH principles and managing the IEP annual review process. Earlier roles included a Teacher Assistant and Special Education Paraprofessional, emphasizing differentiated instruction and crisis intervention for students with autism and emotional disabilities. Theresa's career began as a Youth Program Director Assistant and Lead Counselor at The Child Center of NY, where organizational and teaching skills were honed. Theresa holds a Master’s Degree in General Education and Special Education Grades 1-6 from Touro University.
