Katrin Giza

Katrin Giza is an experienced manager and community professional with a strong background in communications and community management across various industries. Currently serving as the Manager of Member Communities for DACH & Benelux at CompTIA since April 2023, Katrin previously held positions including Community Manager at ownCloud, where the focus was on open source software for content collaboration, and Community Communications Manager at Amazon. Additional experience includes roles at Helmholtz Zentrum München, managing communications for a leading German research center, and as a Senior Community Program Manager at Microsoft, overseeing the experience of over 200 Most Valuable Professionals. Katrin began their career in communications at PACT COMMUNICATION GROUP and gained initial experience as a trainee with the European Commission in Austria.
