Compu Dynamics sits in the heart of one of the fastest growing data center markets in the country and is a recognized leader in that business. We are excited to be growing and have an immediate need for a Director of Business Development.
Essential Functions:

- Identify key client decision makers and influencers within target clients.
- Develop relationships with individuals and teams who have influence over contractor selection, and make introductions to appropriate Compu Dynamics staff members.
- Seek to understand clients’ needs from their perspective.
- Represent the company’s capabilities and business interests.
- Find opportunities where the company’s product/service offerings are a good match with clients’ needs.
- Shape the outcome of client decisions.
- Develop relationships with clients who are known to have a pipeline of long terms business opportunities.
- Coordinate and facilitate communication and cooperation between clients and the company’s relevant departments and teams.
- Collaborate with Estimating, Operations, and Sales (when warranted) to ensure that we provide comprehensive pre-construction services.
- Support executives during negotiation of contact terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders.
- Utilize the company’s software and other tools to document activities and performance.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 7+ years of experience working for a commercial General Contractor or Subcontractor
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Past experience performing business development services for a construction company
- Knowledge of the unique aspects of Data Center design and construction
