Meysam Rahmanian

Meysam Rahmanian is a Software Developer at Computer Modelling Group Ltd. since May 2023 and a PhD Researcher at the University of Calgary since January 2019, focusing on the modeling of two-phase electrocoagulation processes for wastewater treatment. Previous experience includes consulting roles at Subterra Energy Consulting Ltd. and PV3 TECHNOLOGIES LTD, addressing electromagnetic heating in heavy oil reservoirs and improving electroplating processes through numerical modeling, respectively. In addition, Meysam served as a Research Assistant at the University of Calgary, developing software applications for generating 3D porous media and linking them to multi-phase flow simulators. Early career experience includes supervisory and engineering roles in oil purification and petroleum engineering, where expertise in algorithm development and applications for fluid properties was demonstrated. Meysam holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, both from the University of Calgary.
