Amanda Bell, PhD

Amanda Bell, PhD, has a diverse work experience. Amanda is currently working as a Grant Project Manager at the Computer Science Teachers Association, where they started in May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer at Atlantic Dance Arts since April 2018. In February 2021, they briefly served as an Academic Advisor at Hunter College. Previously, they worked at Vanderbilt University as a Research Assistant from February 2020 to May 2021 and as a Teaching Assistant from August to December 2020. Before that, they held the position of Assistant Director and Academic Advising Specialist at Hunter College from November 2018 to January 2020. Amanda also worked as a Consultant for After School programs at Bank Street College of Education in October to November 2018. Amanda Bell's work experience also includes roles at Museum of Science, Boston as an Intern from January to June 2017, as well as at Tufts University as a Software Developer and Research Assistant from August 2012 to June 2013. Amanda started their career as a Software Development Intern at Eze Castle Software from May to August 2011.

Amanda Bell, PhD, completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics at Tufts University from 2008 to 2012. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at Vanderbilt University. Amanda obtained their Master of Science degree in Teaching, Learning, and Diversity in 2018. Amanda Bell continued their academic journey at Vanderbilt and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Teaching, Learning, and Diversity - Learning Sciences in 2022.
