Rachel Duren, CPCU, AAI, CAWC has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Rachel Duren, began their career in 2006 as a Marketing Representative at Lumbermen's Underwriting Alliance, where they worked until 2011. Rachel Duren, then worked at Marsh as a Placement Representative from 2011 to 2012, followed by a role as a Commercial Lines Account Manager at J. Smith Lanier & Co. from 2012 to 2013. Since 2013, Rachel has been with Accident Fund Insurance Company of America, where they have held various roles including Territory Sales Consultant, Business Development Consultant, Senior Business Development Specialist, and Regional Manager and Director of Business Development. Throughout their career, Rachel has demonstrated their skills in sales, business development, underwriting, and account management.

Rachel Duren, CPCU, AAI, CAWC, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Finance from Parker College of Business-Georgia Southern University, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. In 2017, they completed a certificate program in Leadership Essentials from Cornell University. Currently, Rachel is pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Insurance Management from Boston University, which they began in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2022. Additionally, they are also enrolled in an International Graduate Certificate program in Maximizing Global Business Performance at Boston University MET International, which they will complete in 2022.

Rachel has obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2008, they earned the Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) Designation from The Institutes. In 2013, they achieved the Accredited Adviser In Insurance (AAI) Designation from The Institutes. In 2014, they obtained the Certified Authority on Workers' Compensation (CAWC) Designation from Accident Fund Insurance Company of America. Rachel obtained the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) Designation from The Institutes in 2016. Lastly, they recently completed their Master of Science Insurance Management degree from Boston University in August 2022.
