Lisa Frattare has a diverse work experience in various fields. Lisa started their career in 1996 at the Space Telescope Science Institute, where they held multiple roles including Master Astronomical Image Processor, Hubble Heritage Project Coordinator, Summer Intern Program Coordinator, and Science and Research Data Analyst. In these positions, they were responsible for image processing, data manipulation, fact collection, and coordinating various projects.

In 2006, Lisa worked as a College Astronomy Laboratory Instructor at the Community College of Baltimore County.

From 2017, Lisa worked as a Technical Editor at General Dynamics IT: DCITA Cyber Training Academy and as a Scientific Image Processor at Chandra X-Ray Observatory.

More recently, in 2019, Lisa joined COMSO, Inc. as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Certified ScrumMaster where they currently work.

Lisa Frattare obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Astronomy from the State University of New York at Oswego in the years 1985 to 1989. Lisa then pursued further education and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics & Astronomy from Arizona State University from 1989 to 1994. Lisa continued their education at Wesleyan University, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Astronomy from 1994 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, Lisa obtained a certification in "Getting Started with InDesign" from LinkedIn in October 2016.
