Sal Alfano

Salvatore Alfano is a Senior Research Astrodynamicist with extensive experience in various roles within the aerospace industry and the United States Air Force. Salvatore has held positions such as Vice Director of Analysis at NORAD & USSPACECOM, Technical Program Manager at The Aerospace Corporation, and Astrodynamics Division Chief at the Air Force Research Laboratory. Alfano also served as a Colonel in the US Air Force and has chaired the AIAA Astrodynamics Technical Committee. Salvatore holds a Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, an MS in Astronautical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology, and a BS in Astronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy.
