Tomek Magiera

Tomek Magiera has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Tomek started their career as a Property Consultant at Foxtons, where they focused on onboarding properties and influencing customers based on market conditions. Tomek then worked as an Independent Mortgage Broker at Alexander Hall, providing mortgage advice and managing portfolios for retail and commercial clients.

Tomek then joined Barclays Wealth and Investment Management as a Mortgage & Insurance Adviser, where they advised high-net-worth clients and led coaching sessions for staff. Tomek later worked at HSBC as a Senior Financial Adviser, providing holistic wealth advice to high-net-worth clients on investments, mortgages, and retirement planning.

In 2013, Tomek transitioned to State Super Financial Services as a Client Service Paraplanner, focusing on growing funds under advice for planner portfolios. Tomek also worked at Westpac Group as a Senior Financial Adviser, Sales Manager, and Distribution Manager, where they played key roles in product rollouts, managing client relationships, and generating new acquisitions.

In 2019, Tomek joined Red Education as a Sales Director, leading a team in providing IT training and professional services to commercial, enterprise, and government organizations. Tomek then held executive positions at Trainocate Group and Westcon-Comstor, where they led sales and services teams, managed partner relationships, and drove business growth across the region.

Throughout their career, Tomek has demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining strong relationships with partners, leading sales and services teams, and driving successful business outcomes.

Tomek Magiera completed a Bachelor of Arts in Film, Cultural Anthropology from the University of the West of England from 2003 to 2006. In 2018, they obtained an SMSF Specialist Advisor Accreditation from SMSF Association. Moreover, they pursued a Diploma of Financial Planning from Kaplan Business School from 2013 to 2014 and earned a Diploma in Financial Practice from the Chartered Insurance Institute in 2011. In terms of secondary education, Tomek studied at Gunnersbury Catholic School from 1995 to 2000, where they achieved 10 GCSEs including English, Maths, and Science. Tomek then attended Richmond upon Thames College from 2000 to 2002, focusing on Psychology, English, Media Studies, and Polish for their A Levels.
