Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical and firmware engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative educational technology solutions at SMART Technologies since July 2010. In this role, Chris is involved in the development of hardware for innovative DViT interactive whiteboards and related devices. Prior experience includes working as an electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, and serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Additionally, Chris has worked as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
