Anahid Arakelian

Anahid Arakelian has worked in a variety of roles in the communications and public relations field. Anahid began their career in 1995 as an Assembly Fellow and Legislative Aide for California State Legislature - Assemblyman James E. Rogan. In 1997, they moved to California State Legislature - Assemblyman Bill Campbell as a Field Representative. In 1998, they joined Coca-Cola Enterprises as a Marketing Manager. In 1999, they moved to Stoorza Communications (now O'Reilly Public Relations) as a Senior Account Executive. In 2001, they worked as a Consultant in Hong Kong, S.A.R., China. In 2003, they joined Orange County Sanitation District (OCSD) as a Principal Public Information Specialist. In 2016, they began working for the County of Orange as a Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Specialist. In 2018, they joined R.A. Industries, LLC as a Communications Specialist. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Head of Public Relations and Communications (Group) at Conagen Inc.

Anahid Arakelian received a BA in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach between 1990 and 1995. Anahid then went on to earn an MSc in Finance and Financial Law from SOAS University of London between 2005 and 2008. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Investor Relations from UCI Extension (University of California, Irvine Extension).
