Josh Quarterman

Josh Quarterman has a long and varied work experience. Josh began their career in 2002 as a Chemistry Services Co-op at Noramco. In 2004, they became a Teaching Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2006, they were a Trainee at Full-Time Training in Anaheim. In 2010, they were a Visiting Graduate Researcher at Seoul National University. In 2011, they were a Team Leader at the UIUC Research Apprenticeship Program, in co-sponsorship with Kraft Foods Inc. In 2012, they were a Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2009, they were a Graduate Student Researcher at the Institute for Genomic Biology. In 2015, they became a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS). Finally, in 2019, they became a Senior Scientist and Scientist at Conagen.

Josh Quarterman completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2006. Josh then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they completed in 2014. Prior to that, Josh Quarterman attended Roswell High School.
