Jim Robertson

Jim Robertson has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Jim currently serves as the Director of Sales Engineering at Concentric AI since 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Bionic as a Senior Sales Engineer from 2021 to 2022, where they focused on understanding and mitigating architecture drift and application security. Before that, Jim was an Automation Technical Specialist at IBM from 2021 to 2021. Jim also held the position of Senior Sales Engineer at Splunk from 2018 to 2021, where they helped organizations utilize data for business outcomes. In addition, Jim worked as a Senior Sales Engineer at STEALTHbits Technologies from 2015 to 2018 and as a Sales Engineer at Varonis from 2014 to 2015. Jim started their career as an IT Manager at Northcentral Telcom, Inc in 2001 and has since held various roles, including Services Manager at Network Solutions of WI., Inc and Advanced Network Engineer at RMM Solutions Inc. Prior to joining Concentric AI, Jim was the Engineering Services Manager at 1Prospect Technologies, LLC.

Jim Robertson attended Western Governors University from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Technology Management with a focus on Business and Technology. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1985, they attended Naval Nuclear Power School, where they studied reactor physics, chemistry, and operational theory. In terms of certifications, Jim has achieved several, including IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from AXELOS Global Best Practice in January 2020, Splunk Core Certified User from Splunk in January 2020, CompTIA Security+ Certification from CompTIA in June 2009, CompTIA Network+ Certification from CompTIA in April 2000, CompTIA A+ Certification from CompTIA in November 1998, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2020, Splunk Core Certified Advanced Power User from Splunk in March 2020, and Splunk Core Certified Power User from Splunk in February 2020.
