Kyla Frye

Kyla Frye, MBA, is an experienced professional with a diverse background in various leadership roles. Kyla currently serves as the Director of Science and Technology Ecosystems at Concept Companies, where they formulate and prioritizes strategic and operational goals for the company's Life Science programs. Kyla is responsible for program management, facilities management, recruitment/retention, daily operations, and strategic marketing for the graduate incubator. In addition, Kyla also plays a role as an ecosystem builder and helps lead initiatives for The Convergence Research Park.

Prior to their current position, Kyla worked as the CEO/Certified Coach at Three 7 Leadership, where they focused on executive coaching for female leaders and entrepreneurs. Kyla was also a Certified Coaching Clinic facilitator for the coach approach method and culture development.

Before that, Kyla held leadership positions at the WT Enterprise Center, including Executive Director and Interim Executive Director. As the Executive Director, they provided leadership and direction for strategic, financial, and business development initiatives. Kyla was also involved in co-founding the WIRE Accelerator and launching Revolution at 800 coworking space. Previously, they held roles as the Associate Director and Marketing Director at the WT Enterprise Center, where they provided leadership for various services, facilities, marketing, programs, and staff members. Kyla also served as the Client Services Coordinator during their time at the company.

Kyla Frye obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the West Texas A&M University College of Business in 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Communications with a focus on Advertising/Public Relations from West Texas A&M University in 2012. Kyla also attended Amarillo College from 2007 to 2009, earning transfer credits.

In terms of additional certifications, Kyla Frye obtained a Certified Coach certification from the International Coach Federation in November 2021. Kyla also received a Certified Coach certification from wendykennedy.com inc. in 2018. In 2014, Kyla Frye achieved an InBIA Incubator Management Certification from the International Business Innovation Association. Additionally, they became a Growthwheel Certified Trainer from GrowthWheel International Inc. in 2014 and obtained an Inbound Marketing Certification from HubSpot in 2013.
