Chris Shannon

Chris Shannon has worked in the software engineering field since 2008. Chris began their career at A7 Multimedia as a Coldfusion Developer, then moved on to Office Depot as a Customer Service Specialist II in 2010. In 2011, they joined SoftRock as a Software Engineer I and then moved to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2012. At Embry-Riddle, they held the roles of Senior Application Developer & Integration Specialist, Lead Developer & Software Architect, and Application Developer. During their tenure, they introduced Agile SCRUM, code syntax/solution/optimization standardization, peer code reviews, and test-driven development. Chris also created a in-depth tutorial for cross-training developers in their custom ColdFusion framework. In 2019, they joined Concepts Beyond as a Software Engineer.

Chris Shannon attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 2015 to 2017, where they earned a Master's Degree in Software Engineering. Chris also attended Daytona State College from 2004 to 2010, where they earned a BAS in Business Admin & Pre-Engineering.
