Barbara De Coninck

Barbara De Coninck is an accomplished associate professor at KU Leuven, where involvement spans from October 2002 to the present, including a role as assistant professor, focusing on the study of plant-pathogen interactions. Previous experience includes a postdoctoral researcher position and an FWO postdoctoral fellowship, alongside a PhD in fundamental research in plant physiology and biochemistry. Additionally, Barbara held a postdoctoral researcher role at KU Leuven and VIB from November 2015 to September 2016 and served as a visiting postdoctoral researcher at The University of Queensland's Institute of Molecular Bioscience in early 2014. Education was completed at KU Leuven from 1998 to 2002.
