Hani Goodarzi

Hani Goodarzi has a long and distinguished career in the field of biotechnology. Hani began as a Postdoctoral Associate at Columbia University in 2011, followed by a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Rockefeller University from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, they became an Associate Professor and then an Assistant Professor at the University of California, San Francisco. In 2019, they became a Scientific Advisor for Verge Genomics, and in 2021 they Co-Founded and became a Scientific Advisor for Exai Bio. In 2022, they became a Scientific Advisor for Sardona Therapeutics and Deep Forest Sciences, as well as Co-Founder of Vevo Therapeutics.

Hani Goodarzi obtained a B.Sc. in Biotechnology from the University of Tehran in 2006. Hani then pursued a PhD in Molecular Biology at Princeton University, which they completed in 2010.
