Mbakwe Okafor

Mbakwe Okafor is an experienced education professional currently serving as the Director of Enrollment Management at Concord Academy since June 2023. Previously, from 2019 to 2023, Okafor held the position of Associate Director of Admissions and Multicultural Outreach at Phillips Exeter Academy. Okafor has extensive involvement with Codman Academy Charter Public School, serving as President and Vice President of the Foundation Board, and as Director of Wellness/Athletics, where notable achievements included earning the Gold-Level Massachusetts School Wellness Award and initiating health programs for students. Additional experience includes founding roles and leadership at the Mass. Charter School Athletic Organization from 2006 to October 2021. Okafor holds a Master's degree in Sports Leadership from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in English from the College of the Holy Cross.
