Dr. James M. Owston

Dr. James M. Owston is an experienced academic and entrepreneur currently serving as an Online Instructional Design Coach and Adjunct Instructor at Concord University. With a diverse background in communication and higher education, Owston has taught various courses at Southern New Hampshire University and previously held several administrative roles, including Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Alderson Broaddus University. As the owner of Owston & Owston Public Relations Consultants, Jim and Lora Owston provide pro bono public relations services, including the award-winning WV Remembers campaign. Additionally, Owston has contributed to public discourse through freelance writing and genealogical research, demonstrating a commitment to both education and community engagement.
