Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completing their studies from 1982 to 1986. In addition to their formal education, Charles has also obtained the CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) certification from APICS in May 2004, and the CTL (Certified in Transportation and Logistics) certification from AST&L in February 1994.
