Amy Bird is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in editing, writing, and communication within both humanitarian and educational contexts. Currently serving as a Senior Editor at World Vision USA since October 2020, Amy oversees the editing and proofreading of diverse marketing materials for a variety of audiences, managing over 1,000 projects annually. Additionally, as a Freelance Writer for Concordia Publishing House, Amy authors "Lutheran Life," a digital magazine aimed at addressing the faith-based inquiries of everyday Christians. Alongside prior roles at World Vision in creative account management and as a Communication Specialist for The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, Amy has developed strong skills in communication strategy and project leadership. Amy holds a Master of Arts in Systematic Theology from Concordia Seminary St. Louis and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Business Communication, and Theology from Concordia University-Wisconsin.
