Rita Lockheart

Rita Lockheart has a diverse work experience in various industries. Rita currently holds the position of Associate Director, Communications at Concordia, where they are responsible for driving the organization's communications strategy and overseeing execution. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Communications Manager and Communications & Engagement Manager at Concordia.

Before joining Concordia, Rita worked at J.P. Morgan Asset Management as an Investment Writer/Editor, Associate, providing writing and editorial support to the retail and institutional businesses. Rita also had a summer internship at Generation Investment Management.

Rita's early work experience includes a work placement at Ashurst in the commercial litigation department, where they conducted research and attended client meetings. Rita also gained experience in the legal field through a work experience opportunity at the London Borough of Hackney, where they observed court proceedings and assisted with case bundles.

Additionally, Rita worked as an Operations Assistant at Heartwood, where they provided investment and wealth management services for private clients. Rita also ran a part-time piano tuition business, teaching piano to young students.

Rita started their career as a Summer Intern at Saatchi Gallery. Overall, Rita has gained extensive experience in communications, writing and editing, legal research, and client services throughout their professional journey.

Rita Lockheart began their education at Weald of Kent Grammar School from 2000 to 2005. Rita then attended The Judd School, where they pursued A Levels in English Literature, History, and Music from 2005 to 2007. Moving forward, Rita studied at the University of Leeds between 2008 and 2011, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Music. Rita furthered their education at the College of Law in London, completing their Graduate Diploma in Law from 2011 to 2012.
