Ashley Haugo

Ashley Haugo has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. Ashley has held various roles in different companies, demonstrating their expertise in energy resilience, policy analysis, education programs, and advocacy. Notably, they have worked as a Senior Analyst for Concurrent Technologies Corporation, where they provided contract support for energy resilience initiatives within the U.S. Air Force. Ashley also served as an Advisor and Managing Director of Education Programs at Clean Energy Leadership Institute, focusing on promoting clean energy and sustainability. Additionally, they worked as an Energy Program Analyst for Arrowpoint Corporation and as a Climate Policy Advocate for Blue Green Alliance Foundation. Ashley has also been involved in political campaigns, interning for Congressman Dave Loebsack and working as a Campaigns Intern for the League of Conservation Voters. Ashley's early career includes roles such as Metro Reporter for The Daily Iowan and Freelance Writer for El Heraldo Hispano. Their work experience showcases their commitment to environmental issues and their ability to contribute to energy innovation and policy development.

Ashley Haugo holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins Engineering for Professionals. Ashley completed their master's degree from 2016 to 2019. Before that, they attended the University of Iowa from 2005 to 2009 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism. In 2008, they also briefly studied Spanish, Andean Culture, and History at the Center for Interamerican Studies (CEDEI), but did not obtain a degree from this institution.
