Ram Sathia

Ram Sathia has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 1998, while still an undergraduate, Ram assembled a team of students and built and sold custom ERP software for small-scale retail export houses. This included developing a Java WAP application for a telecom company and a desktop ERP software for a garment manufacturer. From 2001 to 2003, Ram worked at Suvistas Software, where their role primarily focused on assembly programming and testing. In 2003, Ram joined HCLT America as a Lead Member of Technical Staff, initially working to improve productivity and quality before being promoted to incubate and launch a new consulting team. From 2008 to 2022, Ram worked at PK, starting as a member of technical staff and incubating the Automation business unit, which grew to have over 1000 employees and $100 million in revenue. Ram's role involved co-inventing Automation Fabric and applying API + automation in various industries such as telco, retail, and healthcare. Presently, Ram is the Co-Founder and CTO of Conektto, Inc, where they are focusing on building easy-to-use APIs through their platform, www.conektto.io. Ram Sathia completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Systems at the University of Madras from 1997 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, Ram obtained various certifications, including the Certified Blockchain Security Professional and Certified Cryptocurrency Auditor from the Blockchain Council in February 2023. Ram also completed the Presales foundation and Sales foundation for UiPath from UiPath in August 2021. Prior to that, they obtained the Automation Pro I Certification from Workato in January 2021 and the Cloud Developer Bootcamp from IBM in November 2015.
