Avni Adams

Avni Adams has a diverse work experience history. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Youth Programs Specialist at YMCA Canada until September 2012. Following this, they served as a Professor at Qingdao Harbour Vocational & Technical College from September 2013 to July 2014. In 2016, Avni began working as a Student Support Worker at Carizon Family and Community Services until April 2018. Avni then joined Conestoga College as an International Transition Coordinator from May 2018 to November 2019. Finally, they took on the role of Learning Strategist at Conestoga College in November 2019, a position they currently hold.

Avni Adams obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from the University of Toronto in the period between 2008 and 2012. Later, they pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, they obtained various certifications, including Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) from Livingworks Education USA and the Inclusion Series Certificate from the Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Centre in 2015. Avni also earned a certification in Intercultural Communication in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University in the same year. Furthermore, they obtained a Teach English as a Second Language (TESL) certification from ONTESOL in 2014. Avni's online personal brand training is incomplete, with the obtained month and year for this certification being unknown.
