Mohammed M. Fakhri has a diverse work experience in the building and construction industry. Mohammed began their career as a Site Engineer at MWS Engineering in 1990, where they worked on various infrastructure government projects and oversaw the construction of steel structures. Mohammed also ensured that contractors followed all legal and environmental requirements and managed the site supervision team.
From 1993 to 1998, Mohammed worked as a Site Engineer at Sami Razzouk Tobjee Company, where they continued to oversee construction projects and ensure compliance with city standards.
In 1998, Mohammed joined Al-Irtibat Engineering as a Project Manager and continued in this role until 2006. Mohammed successfully managed various construction projects during this time.
From 2002 to 2006, Mohammed worked as a Project Manager at Al-Irtibat Al Handasi Engineering, further developing their project management skills in the construction industry.
In 2006, Mohammed joined Ibrahim Takla as a Site Engineer and held this position until 2010. Mohammed gained valuable experience in overseeing construction projects during this time.
From 2011 to 2011, Mohammed worked as an English Teacher at Danish Refugee Council, where they taught English language skills.
In 2012, Mohammed enrolled in the Enhanced Language Training Program and Project Management Course at Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. This allowed him to improve their soft skills and update their knowledge in construction project management.
From 2014 to 2015, Mohammed volunteered at The Food Bank of Waterloo Region, assisting with building and premises maintenance tasks, painting, landscape work. Mohammed also monitored risk management practices and effectively collaborated with on-site and offshore teams.

Mohammed M. Fakhri holds a Bachelor's degree in Building and Construction from the University of Technology in Iraq. Mohammed graduated from this program between 1986 and 1990. In 2013, Mohammed completed a certificate program in Construction Management at Conestoga College. Mohammed also obtained an Ontario College Graduate Certificate in Construction Project Management from the same institution during the same year. In 2014, they further enhanced their skills by completing the Experience Matters Industrial Program at Ontario Works and obtaining a certification in the Industrial sector. Mohammed also received a Customized Training certification in the Industrial sector from the Region of Waterloo in 2014. To complement their education, Mohammed obtained additional certifications, including Service Excellence from the Ontario Tourism Education Corporation (OTEC) in December 2014. Mohammed also received ForkLift Certification in Class 1-111- Counter Balance/Reach/Walkie in 2014 from JOHNSTON EQUIPMENT RAYMOND.
