Jasmin Guest has a diverse work experience in the academic field. Starting in 2012, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Guelph. In 2015, they transitioned to become a Graduate Research Assistant at Wilfrid Laurier University. After that, they joined the University of Guelph again, where they held multiple roles. From 2016 to 2018, Jasmin worked as a Residence Manager, overseeing program delivery and managing teams of student leaders. Simultaneously, they also served as a Team Leader, supporting service learning programming and conducting training sessions. From 2018 to 2021, Jasmin took on the role of a Program Counsellor, providing academic guidance to undergraduate students and presenting cases to the Academic Review Committee. Most recently, starting in September 2022, Jasmin became an Assistant Manager of Student Success & Retention at Conestoga College.
Jasmin Guest has a diverse education history. Jasmin began their educational journey in 2011 at the University of Guelph, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology and Psychology. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2014, Jasmin pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. Jasmin specialized in the integrated stream and completed their MSW in 2016.
Jasmin further expanded their knowledge and skills by obtaining additional certifications. In 2015, they obtained a Leadership Certificate from the University of Guelph. Jasmin then pursued a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Certificate in 2016 from Wilfrid Laurier University. Jasmin continued to enhance their expertise by completing a Management and Leadership Certificate from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2019.
In 2019, Jasmin decided to pursue further education and enrolled in the University of Guelph's Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, with a focus on Sustainable Commerce. Jasmin is expected to complete their MBA degree in 2022.
