Joanne Harris has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Joanne is currently working as the OYAP/Dual Credit Co-ordinator for the Upper Grand District School Board, where they collaborate with various stakeholders to support and promote the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program and Dual Credit. Prior to their current role, they worked as a Coop Teacher at Centre Wellington District High School. Joanne also served as a Dual Credit Teacher at Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, allowing high school students to earn college credits. Additionally, they have experience as a High School Teacher at Centennial Collegiate Vocational Institute and as a Webmaster for the City of Kitchener. Joanne began their career as a Secondary School Teacher at Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute and then worked as a Production Manager at Information DesignWorks, where they managed various graphic design and communication projects.
Joanne Harris completed their education at two different universities. From 1992 to 1996, they attended the University of Waterloo, where they pursued a Bachelor of Mathematics degree with a focus on Business/Information Systems. Following this, from 1996 to 1997, they attended Western University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree, specializing in Junior/Intermediate/Senior education.
