Kelly McDonald-Jarosz has a diverse work experience in various healthcare and educational institutions. Kelly McDonald-Jarosz has an extensive education history. Kelly obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree with a specialization in Assessment and Evaluation from Queen's University in the years 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) at Wilfrid Laurier University from 2011 to 2015. During the same period, they also obtained a Certificate in Human Resources from Conestoga College. In 2009 to 2011, they pursued a diploma in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. Kelly began their educational journey by completing a Bachelor's degree in Medical Radiation Technology from the University of Toronto between 2005 and 2008. Before that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Women's Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University from 2002 to 2005. Kelly is currently pursuing a Diploma in Occupational Health Safety and Wellness at Conestoga College, which will be completed from 2023 to 2024.

In addition to their academic degrees, Kelly has also acquired professional certifications. Kelly obtained the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) certification from the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA) in April 2022. Furthermore, in October 2008, they became a Registered Medical Imaging Technologist (MRT(R)) through the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
