Polly Gomides

Polly Gomides has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Starting in 2004, they worked as an ESL Instructor at the Practical English Course, teaching students of various proficiency levels. Polly specialized in training advanced level writing skills.

In 2012, Polly joined UniEVANGÉLICA - Universidade Evangélica de Goiás as an Assistant Manager. Polly supervised 8 language programs, supported teaching staff, and developed curriculum for English programs. Polly also redesigned the curriculum for six other languages offered by the university. Polly held this position until March 2018.

Following that, Polly became the Manager of the UniEVANGÉLICA Language Center at the University Evangélica de Goiás. In this role, they oversaw administrative and teaching staff, implemented social media campaigns to promote new programs, and successfully increased student registration by 19%. Polly also monitored the learning outcomes of over 450 students each semester. Polly held this position until September 2021.

Currently, Polly is working as a Project Manager at Conestoga College, starting in April 2023. Additionally, from June 2022 to June 2023, they served as an Administrative Assistant at the same institution.

Polly Gomides pursued higher education starting in 2016 at the Universidade Estadual de Goiás, where they obtained a Master's degree in Education, Language, and Technologies. Polly completed their studies in 2018. In 2021, they enrolled at Conestoga College, where they pursued an Administrative Business Management degree, focusing on Business Administration and Management. Polly completed their studies in this field in 2022.
