Lucas Santiago

Lucas Santiago has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of technology. Lucas is currently working as the Head of Engineering at Conexa, where they lead teams focused on the excellence and quality of technology solutions. Lucas contributes to the development of strategic plans for software development and establishes the technical vision of the business. Prior to this role, they served as the CTO at Psicologia Viva (Psyalive) from December 2019 to December 2022.

Before joining Psicologia Viva, Lucas worked at Prodabel in various roles. Lucas started as a Java EE Software Developer in January 2010 and then transitioned to the role of Java EE Software Architect and Team Leader in January 2012. As an architect and leader, they provided technical expertise and guidance to the Software Factory PRODABEL projects. Lucas also disseminated knowledge to the development team and ensured the quality of software architecture and code through automated testing tools. In December 2015, Lucas became the Gerente de codificação de sistemas, where they managed the technical operation of the company's Software Factory. Their responsibilities included overseeing the development and maintenance of customized or legacy systems, managing the technical team, and utilizing agile techniques to track software development activities. In July 2017, they moved into the role of Arquiteto de soluções de software before eventually leaving Prodabel in December 2019.

Lucas began their career as a Java EE Software Developer at Squadra Tecnologia in January 2009. Lucas spent the entire year working in this role before moving on to other opportunities.

Lucas Santiago pursued their undergraduate education from 2005 to 2008 at UFOP - Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto, where they obtained a degree in Sistemas de Informação. In 2014 to 2015, they pursued a post-graduate degree in Arquitetura de Software Distribuído at PUC Minas. Additionally, Lucas has obtained several certifications including Oracle Certified Expert, Java EE 6 Web Component Developer in March 2015, Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer in June 2012, and Certified jCompany Developer (CJD) in October 2010. Lucas also attended IFTL for a brief period in 2022, although the degree and field of study are not specified.
