Mitch Talmadge

Mitch Talmadge has an extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and web development. Mitch started their career in 2016 as the Founder & CEO of AptiTekk, LLC., where they built and managed highly-available Spring Cloud web applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Mitch also connected physical and virtual Linux servers to host company website and services.

In 2017, Mitch joined Entheos Academy as a Web Developer & General IT Assistant. Mitch developed a responsive, ADA/FERPA compliant, and SEO-friendly school website, resulting in a 50% increase in daily visitors. Mitch also optimized website speed and ensured browser-to-server security.

In 2018, Mitch worked as a Software Engineering Consultant at ConexED, where they wrote FFMPEG video processing algorithms and built an appointment check-in kiosk system. Mitch employed multiple AWS services for these projects.

Mitch also worked as an IoT Software Engineer at Gizmode Innovations in 2018, where they developed embedded C++ firmware and created web applications for interacting with IoT devices.

In 2019, they joined Lystant as a Lead Frontend Software Engineer. Mitch rebuilt the company's outdated website using modern technologies like React, GraphQL, and SCSS. Mitch also played a key role in planning the future vision and direction of the startup and helped grow the company's monthly revenue.

Mitch has also worked at Facebook as a Production Engineer in 2019 and 2020. Mitch designed and implemented a new data storage system and created comprehensive integration testing suites. Mitch also worked directly with business partners to address pain points and improve system stability.

In 2020, Mitch returned to ConexED as a Senior Software Engineer and later became a Senior Lead Software Engineer. In these roles, they mentored team members, maintained software projects, and led the development of multiple web applications using various technologies like TypeScript, React, and WebRTC.

Throughout their career, Mitch has demonstrated expertise in a wide range of technologies and a strong track record of successfully delivering projects.

Mitch Talmadge began their education at Elk Ridge Middle School from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, they attended the G/R/E/A\\T/ Summer Camp at the University of Utah School of Computing, where they focused on Advanced Highschool Programming. From 2013 to 2016, Mitch attended Bingham High School but did not mention any specific degree or field of study. In 2016, they also enrolled at the Jordan Applied Technology Center for a brief period, focusing on Computer Science. Mitch then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Utah from 2016 to 2020. Mitch further continued their education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from 2020 to 2021.
